This Apostolic Church Directory Discontinued And This Article Placed Here
This was at one time the Apostolic Church Directory. For a Church to be listed they must believe in the following plan for Salvation: Salvation consists of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ. The New Testament experience of salvation consists of repentance from sin, full emersion water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of Speaking In Tongues, after which the Christian is to live a godly life. The directory has been closed. Took up too much time to be of any worth. Thanks for your past support.

True Vision Of The Church?

I have begun to wonder this lately. By virtue of its nature the Church should be a society built on the fundamental teachings of The Bible. Biblicists across time have inoculated us with the importance and necessity of clinging to and living by the teachings of morality and ethics which it dictates- many even claim the Bibles holds true vision for the world within its constantly translated pages. Yet, the idealist two-faced behavior of the church and its willful ignorance to continue living in selective morality, can only be called hypocritical to a degree that is nothing if not shamefully astounding. Now, I am not even speaking about the gay rights wagon everybody seemed to have jumped on. I’m talking about the scriptures that dictate the way a Christian should go about living life. It is with these scriptures that the true vision and meaning of Christianity can be found, so why then are there discrepancies and dis-connectivity between the it and the people who stand proudly on its word to look down at others?

Bible Scriptures Expressing The True Vision Of Church

1 Corinthians 14: 34 “Let women keep silence in churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; they are committed to be under obedience, as also saith the law.” Now let’s talk about Aimee Semple McPherson, Anne Graham Lotz, Joyce Meyer just to name a few and all those female pastors, televangelists and deaconesses in our churches.

Exodus 20: 8-10 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall work, but the seventh is a Sabbath to the Lord your God.” Yet after church Christians still go out to the ice cream shops, fast food or to a dine-in restaurant and have no problem with people showing up to serve them. I guess the definition of work is relative….

1 Corinthians 6:1 “If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgement instead of before the saints.” Explain to me why again do we as Christians go to court, a body regulated by a legal system which the constitution states is separate and apart from the church itself, when the proclaimed true vision of life which mandates we do away with any such action speaks against it. Furthermore, Matthew 19: 6 “So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate.” Isn’t it a legally binding document that you sign upon being married and as such only the courts can do away with it? Isn’t the court ungodly by its nature and doesn’t the bible condemn divorce?

Deuteronomy 22: 5 “A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.” I don’t think I need to say anything else.

Matthew 7: 1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.” Yet we have Christians who pass judgment of vary degrees on people every day. Oh, that man looks a bit straggly hence he could probably rob me I won’t give him a ride. He is homeless; he must be a drug addict. Look it’s a street kid, he must be a thief.

True Vision Of Apostolic Churches

The Bible teaches charity and acceptance while its populace rarely practices charity without reciprocation and acceptance is given only if you share the same principles as your fellow Christians. is this the true vision we should align ourselves with and pray our souls are saved? Or is this a vision convenient reshaped and called true to its own cause?

I could go on and on and on but I won’t because at the end of the day the question will still remain. What is the church really? For me, it’s an unknown entity obscured by the codes it has written but does not live by, a society whose true vision is muddle and close to lost in an effort to feed its power.
